Senior High Timeline (Post-Canon AU)


SENIOR HIGH: YEAR I

The Boys
RIKKAI DAI
• [And It Begins Again] ; Third-year student Muraoka Tsubasa steps down from his first year as Captain and appoints Yukimura Seiichi in his stead. Muraoka also recruits freshmen Sanada Genichirou & Yanagi Renji to the Regulars before officially handing in his resignation. Possible rewrite for continuity
• Regulars Ranking Match invites are provided to Marui Bunta, Yagyuu Hiroshi and Niou Masaharu. Bunta declines, insisting that there is no point as he will not play doubles without Kuwahara Jackal. Yagyuu is slotted for the Regulars, Niou is offered the Reserve, but declines.
• Kirihara Akaya is in his third year of Junior High and is captain of the Tennis Team.
• This the year that Rikkai wins Nationals in both the Junior and Senior High circuits.

The Girls
RIKKAI DAI
• Freshmen students Takagi Junko, Karisawa Ayane, Maeda Yukari and Iida Mayuki participate in the Traditional Welcome Matches held by the Girls' Team immediately after Golden Week and are subsequently offered Regulars spots.
• Freshman Tanaka Erika builds a name for herself on the street courts and is scouted by third-year captain, Aizawa Rumiko. She joins the Regulars in time for the last leg of Kantou.
• In the Junior High circuit, Kotani Asari, Hanano Michiko and Shimizu Koharu are familiar names. All three girls are approached by Aizawa just before Nationals begins and are offered guaranteed slots for the Regulars as soon as they step into Senior High the following year.
• During the Post-Nationals Girls' Invitational, Michiko injures her Achilles tendon. She speaks with Aizawa and offers her services in managing the club leaving one slot for Regulars open.

• Fukushima Yayoi founds the Fudoumine Tennis Girls Team and is elected president despite complaints from third-year students Kaijura Ranko and Masuda Aoi. The team manages to get into quarterfinals but second-year Shibuya Ruri came down sick and was unable to play.

• The Rikkai Regulars consist of familiar names: Yukimura Seiichi (Captain), Sanada Genichirou (Vice-Captain), Yanagi Renji; doubles pairs Marui Bunta & Kuwahara Jackal and Yagyuu Hiroshi & Niou Masaharu, and freshman ace Kirihara Akaya.
• Rikkai takes home Nationals for the second year in a row in the High School Tennis Boys Division.

The Girls
RIKKAI DAI
• Second-year Takagi Junko is appointed as vice-captain. She singles out freshman Regular, Kotani Asari in order to groom her under the assuption that the first-year will inherit the position once she takes on the mantle of captain in her third year.
• Newcomers second-year Hirano Sae and first-year Deguchi Noriko join the Welcome Matches traditionally situated after Golden Week and land Regulars spots.
• Final Regulars Roster is comprised of the following: yet unnamed the third-year captain, (Juniors) Takagi, Karisawa, Maeda, Hirano. (Freshmen) Kotani, Shimizu and Deguchi.
• This is the year that Rikkai Dai loses for the first time in a long time to rival school Hyoutei Gakuen in the women's circuit.
• To-Do: Work out Mayuki's timeline and move to Tokyo.

Yukimura overheard saying: "Why are you so inclined to break tradition now?"
